Trellance SOC 2 Compliance extended to India Operations
Commitment to Security Again Verified by Third-Party Audit, Latest Security Recognition Joins Growing List of Credentials
Tampa, FL – Jan. 20, 2023 – As part of its ongoing efforts to continually advance and strengthen its security posture, credit unions’ leading technology partner Trellance is announcing the results of its latest independent enterprise audit of its information security practices. Trellance has met the criteria for SOC 2 compliance standards for both its US and India operations.
SOC 2 compliance is a defined set of criteria developed by the American Institute of CPAs for managing customer data based on five “trust service principles”— security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. Achieving SOC 2 compliance required a third-party audit to verify the operational effectiveness of Trellance’s service controls and information security practices.
“Data security is fundamental to our operations and this commitment has again been confirmed by a rigorous assessment of our processes,” said Trellance Head of Enterprise Security, Risk & Compliance, Asha Connors. “Credit unions are security-conscious organizations. As their adoption of cloud-based services grows, we are a technology partner they can trust and turn to for help implementing data security best practices.”
Trellance is now compliant with SOC 1 and SOC 2 standards for both its U.S. and India operations demonstrating consistent organizational controls at an enterprise level.
Trellance continues to be listed with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) STAR (Security, Trust, Assurance, and Risk) Registry making it a trusted cloud service provider. CSA is the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining best practices that help ensure a secure cloud computing environment.
Additionally, Trellance is a certified Level 1 Service Provider under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) requiring an annual recertification through external auditors. Trellance recently also completed the annual PCI certification at the end of 2022.
